From someone who thought they had read pretty much everything on the planet to make her relationship connected, loving and not clunky and dull - I was failing! I was unhappy and desperatly wanted to fix it because although I threatened many a time to leave, the truth was I loved him. So when Paula came into my world I was hestisitant becuase I thought my only real option was to leave and be free, but I also knew this relationship had echos of patterns I had experienced from previous relationships. So even if it meant I had to leave - I didn't want to experience this pain again. So as we went through, Paula guided me through to uncover my hurts, insecurities and held space for me to voice all the ick I felt deep inside. I felt heard, seen and as she walked me through the process I saw where I had been operating from. I saw my beliefs that were holding me back being present, open and surrendering. By the end of the program I felt different. That first day I took time for myself and began to dance, sing and laugh! I felt amazing. Like I had come back to myself. I stopped feeling like I had to be in control in the relationship, less triggered and like I could breathe. I had some conversations with my partner, but this time they were from the woman in my and straight from the heart, not the scared little girl who was so hurt she wanted to run. It has only been a week and now everything is shifting in the best possible way.. I am shifting, showing up for myself and I'm relaxed. And now my partner is responding, getting closer and being more present! Something I have 'worked on' for 8 years! So if you haven't locked in time to get your dating or relationship sorted then you are suffering like I was for no reason! I was hesitant to spend the $$ because I thought I knew it all - but seriously I would pay it three times over to be were I am today.
